MAMA KHUMALO
Hi there I just wanted to let you know that Mama Khumalo is doing so much better, her wounds are healing well and she is moving around freely, in fact she does not even need the wheelchair anymore that I have requested, in my humble opinion I can only describe it as a miracle.
Then intervention of the Umhlanga Club and Feedback has certainly saved the life of Mama Khumalo who is the backbone of the Khumalo family. The changing of bandages and nutritious food parcels that we provided have increased the healing process for the burn wounds of Mrs Khumalo, you would hardly say that this is the same women that have been caught in the middle of a fire two months ago.
Ms Khumalo new home is being built and they are busy constructing the roof. It is a six bedroom that would house the entire Khumalo family. She was very grateful for the pots, cutlery and crockery that she received to start her off in her eagerly awaiting new home.
She humbly requested that a stove or fridge would make life so much easier for her and her family but that she would be happy with anything she receives.
Mama Khumalo’s story is an incredible one demonstrating that when people who care respond with the little they have that it could save a life as in the case of Mama Khumalo.
“Viva Mama Khumalo Viva”
The most amazing experience is when she sees me she just has the biggest smile on her face because she knows that her life changed from the first time we walked into her broken home and we brought hope and comfort in her most desperate time of need.
Thank you soooooooo…… very much to everyone who has contributed to the Khumalo family’s plight and may God’s richest blessing continue to be with you. You guys are amazing and Feedback would not be able to accomplish all we do without your help.
