CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Menu- Haeaii in Margate

Aloha was the greeting on the 1st December when our club held it's annual end of year function at the Margate Country Club The evening was marked by excellent organizing throughout, firstly from Past District Govenor Doug Kent, who with Rotarian John Webster brought together most of the club members with a number of "Friends of Rotary" Guests Decor as usual was top draw with our two dedicated "Arty Anns" Mari Webster and Past Anns President Jill van Eeden spending hours on turning the hall into Hawaii in Margate, they were assisted by Past Anns District Govenor Cathy Kent and Past Anns President Margaret Parry. Music was by the Sundowners and as usual the club excelled with the meal.Gus and Una mc Lachlan who could not join us- thank you for sponsoring the cheese and biscuits and thanks to George and Jeanette Enslin from Margate Holidays Unlimited for the prizes for best dressed lady and gent. We wish all who read this column a blessed festive season and may the year 2008 bring health, spiritual wealth and prosperity.
