District awarded PR grant from RI
Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that your district’s application for a PR Grant has been approved. More than half of all Rotary districts applied for the 2007-08 PR Grants, with total district and in-kind contributions representing more than US$4 million in PR outreach!
Your district’s PR Grant application has been approved as follows:

1) Radio PSAs $4,350 Grant Approval is contingent upon use of Humanity in Motion materials.
2) Newspaper Ads $1,650

Please carefully review the approved components and grant amounts before you implement your PR Grant project. Only the approved components and amounts listed above will be eligible for reimbursement. If you have not received the full amount requested in your application, it is because the reviewers feel that certain components of your plan have limited PR impact or because funds have been distributed elsewhere to ensure fairness and equality throughout the Rotary world.
As you are aware, the PR Grant pilot project is a reimbursement program. Districts must implement their grants by 1 June 2008 and then provide documentation and invoices in order to receive reimbursement. Detailed reimbursement guidelines and forms will be sent to you via e-mail in January.
To ensure consistency of Rotary messaging and to reduce concept and design costs, we strongly recommend that your district use RI’s Humanity in motion public relations materials. Click here to view the Humanity in motion public service announcements professionally designed and produced for television, radio, print, Internet, and bill boards. Also please note that the new Humanity in motion IV DVD/CD, now in final production, set will be sent to you via postal mail in January for possible incorporation into your PR project.
