Julie Todd inducted

The Hand Over of the Charter

At a formal function held this past weekend at Crossways Hotel in Hilton The Azalea Rotary Club of Pietermaritzburg inducted Julie Todd as the new club President for 2008-2009 . The Rotary International Theme for the year is Make Dreams Real (for children) and for Azalea Rotary it couldn't be more fitting that the incoming President is the current Director of PMB Child Welfare Society who has also just been re-elected for a second term of office to serve on the Executive Committee of the Council for the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. Ms Todd when first elected was the first person from South Africa and only the third person from Africa to be elected onto this committee which has been operating since 1976.
